The first image was an old cookie sheet - the second (image attached) is one of my silk painting brushes that I ended up using as an multi tasked brush over time. It's amazing what naturally un planned beauty exists.

Took a break from the norm. A friend brought over a foreign exchange student they are hosting from Chile and we did some silk painting. Far left is her wonderful creation.
Books on their way to publication
Have been working on creating and publishing four new hardback books. I really enjoyed creating these books, especially the researching of the quotations of artists and women through the centuries. While I was attempting to closely match theories of each artists work with those through the centuries, I was inspired to find that theories in art haven't changed. I was able to make that connection with all it's diversity, close to each individual artist in the publications.
